 We envision ESRF to be a favoured destination with multi-discipline platforms in Science and Technology for industrial solutions, intellectual guidance, integrated education and incubator for the innovative, productive and sustainable research, that foster the life of the spirit, expand imagination, cultivate lifelong learning, encourage service to humanity and promote respect for diversity in this global community to generate, disseminate, integrate, and apply knowledge at the highest level for the benefit of the society. 

  1. Inculcate knowledge and learning at the highest level to produce cutting-edge technology with its outcomes contributory to this changing world.
2. Work in partnership with devolved funding bodies including government agencies to ensure quality, value for money and sustainability at the front line of research and innovation to identify emerging opportunities in synergy.
3. Achieve and sustain the focused targets of the partners at the highest level in collaborative activities with industrial, educational, and research partners.
4. Inspire and nurture the human spirit and innovative ideas of the entrepreneurs, and researchers through an incubatory platform with optimal access to infrastructure, technology and training on a global scale under a felicitous environment that expands access to learning, and disseminates knowledge, wisdom, and values.
5. Deliver environment-friendly research solutions to make our life healthier, enriched, more resilient and sustainable to promote and safeguard the future generations in this diverse society.
6. Disseminate the research outcomes through patents, publications and conference presentations with a focus to both regional and global relevance.
